Three countries in East Africa where it snows

Three East African countries, Tanzania, Kenya, and Uganda, have mountains where it snows despite their proximity to the Equator. Tanzania is home to Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest peak, which is snow-covered year-round. Mount Kenya in Kenya also features glacier-covered summits, while Uganda's Rwenzori Mountains, including Mount Margherita, have glaciers and snow. These phenomena are due to the high altitude of these mountains.
