The Provincial Health Division of Maniema declared three days of mourning from September 14 to 16 following the deaths of two health agents, Dr. Bamavu Amisi Charles and nurse Zakuani Ramazani Le Gentil, who were hit by a truck. A third agent, Tshola Tabu Bernadette, passed away in Kinshasa. A memorial ceremony was held in Salamabila in honor of the victims.
