Tinubu confirms killing of ISIS Commander, Abu-Mainok in Nigeria-US operation

President Bola Tinubu confirmed the killing of senior ISIS leader Abu-Bilal Al-Manuki, also known as Abu-Mainok, during a joint operation by Nigerian and US forces in the Lake Chad Basin. Tinubu described the operation as a significant example of effective collaboration in the fight against terrorism. Early assessments indicate that several of Al-Manuki's lieutenants were also eliminated during the strike on his compound.
