Tinubu directs states, MDAs to implement action plan against child labour

President Bola Tinubu directed Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) and state governments to implement the 2024 National Child Labour Survey Report and the National Action Plan for the Elimination of Child Labour (2026-2030). He stated that eliminating child labour is a national development priority, emphasizing its impact on education, poverty reduction, and national security. Tinubu also launched the survey report and pledged to strengthen child protection systems and interventions addressing poverty.
