Tinubu’s ‘age of prosperity’ yet to reach Nigerian workers - Ajaero

Joe Ajaero, President of the Nigeria Labour Congress, stated that President Bola Tinubu’s proclaimed ‘age of prosperity’ has not yet improved living conditions for Nigerian workers. He pointed out that rising costs of petrol, food, transportation, and accommodation have significantly eroded the N70,000 minimum wage's value. Ajaero criticized the incomplete implementation of government promises to cushion the impact of fuel subsidy removal and warned that unresolved issues could lead to industrial action.
