Togo and Germany began a week of consultations in Lomé on October 19, 2026, running through October 23, to assess cooperation projects, identify challenges and agree on solutions. The delegations are led by Yackoley Johnson, Togo’s minister delegate for cooperation and Togolese abroad, and Rehner Anne, an adviser at Germany’s Foreign Ministry. Discussions cover agriculture, energy, health, decentralization and governance, with field visits planned in Kara, Kantè and Kpalimé.
