Touba: three tilers referred for assault and theft aboard carts

Three young tilers were brought before the Diourbel prosecutor's office after being arrested for assaulting and robbing a passerby in Touba, stealing his phone and 180,000 FCFA. The arrest followed a police operation on October 7, 2026, aimed at combating rising delinquency. The suspects, riding in two carts, were identified by the victim and denied the charges, claiming they fought with the victim over his phone.
