Toulépleu: Before 8,000 Producers, SYNAPCI Condemns the Coffee and Cocoa Council’s Practices

Moussa also accused the regulator of imposing fines and blocking cooperative codes, and said third parties use farmers’ cards without their knowledge. He argued that the Council acts as player, referee, and guard in the cocoa sector.

The government supports processors with financial incentives and plans tax exemptions on equipment, while the industry is also investing in technology and by-product processing.
