A couple was victims of a ceiling collapse in their bedroom during the night of September 23 in Pikine Guinaw Rails, resulting in the immediate death of the woman and the husband being hospitalized in intensive care. A neighbor reported that the slab fell around 3 a.m. due to heavy rains, destroying the bed and scattering debris inside the room. The neighbor calls for measures to secure the old buildings in the neighborhood to prevent further accidents.
