Tragedy: Sall couple’s 7-month-old baby dies at Maggiore Hospital

The seven-month-old daughter of Ndiassé Sall and Rouba Ndaw died on Tuesday, November 3, in intensive care at Maggiore Hospital in Parma after 96 hours on respiratory support. Her parents had died four days earlier from carbon monoxide poisoning while asleep, caused by an improvised brazier. Ndiassé’s father, Madiagne Sall, said the couple had recently moved into a new apartment in Mezzani where heating had not yet been installed. Their 14-year-old son survived and is now being cared for by his grandfather.
