Troops arrest suspected terrorist near military position in Kogi

Troops of the 12 Brigade arrested a suspected terrorist loitering near a military position in Kabba/Bunu Local Government Area of Kogi State on September 18, 2026. The suspect, a herder from Ndaakwu Village in Niger State, was apprehended at around 8:30 PM. Military sources reported that a mobile phone was recovered from the suspect, which allegedly contained communications linked to terrorist activities.
