Troops dislodge terrorists’ enclave, recover weapons in Sokoto

Troops from the Nigerian Army’s 7th Special Intervention Battalion dislodged terrorists from an enclave in Tangaza Local Government Area, recovering a PKT machine gun, AK-47 rifles, ammunition, and motorcycles. The operation aimed to dismantle terrorist hideouts and restore security in the North-West. The troops engaged the terrorists in the Magarya forest, forcing them to flee and allowing for the recovery of a cache of weapons and logistical materials.
