Troops dislodge terrorists, recover machine gun, motorcycles in Sokoto

Troops of the Nigerian Army's Chief of Army Staff Intervention Battalion 7 dislodged terrorist elements in the Tangaza Local Government Area of Sokoto State, recovering a PKT machine gun, rifles, ammunition, and motorcycles. The operation, part of Operation Fansan Yamma, aimed to dismantle terrorist enclaves and deny armed groups freedom of movement. The troops engaged the terrorists in the Magarya forest enclave, forcing them to flee deeper into the forest.
