Troops foil attacks on military bases, recover terrorists’ bodies, weapons in Borno

Troops of the Joint Task Force (North East), Operation HADIN KAI, foiled terrorist attacks on Forward Operating Bases in Gajiram and Mairari in Borno State. Two Jama’atu Ahlis Sunna Lidda’awati wal-Jihad terrorists surrendered with their weapons following intense resistance from the troops. Four terrorists' corpses, AK-47 rifles, ammunition, and other equipment were recovered during the operations.
