Troops foil Boko Haram ambush in Borno, recover arms

Troops of the 27 Task Force Brigade, under Operation HADIN KAI, foiled a Boko Haram ambush along the Buni Gari-Buratai road in Borno State. During the encounter, a Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected vehicle was damaged by an improvised explosive device, but no casualties were reported. The troops recovered ammunition, RPG bombs, a motorcycle, and two bicycles. Additionally, four family members of suspected terrorists, including an infant, surrendered to troops after escaping from a terrorist enclave.
