Troops foil kidnap attempt in Benue, recover three motorcycles

Troops of Sector 1 of Operation WHIRL STROKE thwarted a kidnap attempt in Ukum Local Government Area of Benue State. On July 14, at about 11:30 a.m., soldiers stationed at Kyado responded to a distress call from Azendachi and Atsaam wards. The suspects fled before carrying out their operation. Security personnel recovered three motorcycles and have stepped up patrols in the area.
