Troops kill several suspected terrorists in Zamfara

Troops of Operation Fansan Yanma killed several suspected terrorists during a military operation in Shinkafi Local Government Area of Zamfara State. The incident occurred on Wednesday at about 7:50 pm when soldiers encountered armed men while advancing towards Kagara Forest. After a fierce exchange of fire, the soldiers overpowered the group, resulting in the killing of several terrorists, while others fled. Five motorcycles abandoned by the fleeing suspects were recovered after the operation.
