Troops repel ISWAP-coordinated attack on military base in Yobe

Nigerian Army troops of Operation Hadin Kai successfully repelled an ISWAP-coordinated attack on the headquarters of 27 Brigade in Buni Gari, Yobe, at around 2:00 a.m. The attackers suffered significant casualties, with several neutralized and others fleeing with injuries. The army recovered weapons and ammunition, underscoring the scale of the failed assault, and maintained operational control throughout the engagement.
