Troops repel suspected terrorists attack in Kaduna

Troops under Sector 1 of Operation FANSAN YAMMA repelled a suspected terrorist attack in Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State on April 29 at 4:30 p.m. Soldiers stationed at the Forward Operating Base in Sabon Birni quickly responded to a distress call, forcing the attackers to flee. One civilian was found with gunshot injuries and received medical attention. The area has since been secured, and efforts are ongoing to track down the fleeing suspects.
