Troops rescue 23 kidnap victims, foil fresh attempt in Zamfara

Troops of Operation FANSAN YAMMA rescued 23 abducted civilians, including three adult males and 20 females, who had been held captive for about three weeks in Gummi. The rescued victims are receiving medical attention before being reunited with their families. In a separate operation in Bungudu, troops thwarted a kidnapping attempt by armed bandits, forcing them to retreat without abducting any civilians.
