Troops rescue 6 kidnapped victims in Kaduna, Katsina

Troops of Operation Fansan Yamma rescued six kidnapped victims during separate operations in Kaduna and Katsina on September 17, 2026. Three victims, Enock Hussaini, Abba Dauda, and Kalif Haruna, were rescued in Kaduna after the terrorists abandoned them. Meanwhile, three other victims, Abubakar Abdulkadir, Mansir Idris, and Abubakar Aliyu, were recovered in Katsina following an engagement with the terrorists. The victims were reunited with their families and escorted to continue their journey.
