Troops rescue missing 19-year-old herder in Plateau

Troops of Operation Enduring Peace (OPEP) rescued Hashimu Jafaru, a 19-year-old herder who went missing while grazing livestock in Shen village, Jos South, Plateau State. The incident occurred around 12:30 am on September 27, 2026, prompting a swift search-and-rescue operation. Jafaru was found asleep in the bush and confirmed he had fallen asleep while grazing. His father, Alhaji Jafaru, was contacted for further action.
