Trump rules out using a nuclear bomb on Iran: Why that matters

Donald Trump told Newsmax that the United States would not use a nuclear weapon against Iran, saying it was unnecessary. He did not rule out using the GBU-43/B MOAB, a conventional bomb nicknamed the “mother of all bombs,” which US media reports say his administration is considering deploying. Trump also raised the possibility of another strike on Iran’s nuclear sites, particularly Pickaxe Mountain, as a new phase of the war may follow the US midterm elections on November 3.
