Trump says US is in denuclearisation talks with Russia and China

Donald Trump said the United States is discussing possible denuclearisation with Russia and China. China has about 620 nuclear warheads, compared with more than 4,000 each for the US and Russia, but Trump said he believes China could catch up within five years. No details of the talks were disclosed, though Newsmax reported Trump had discussed the issue with Chinese President Xi Jinping. His remarks came shortly after the US-Russia Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty expired.
