TSC Pleads With 44,000 Intern Teachers to Avert Strike After Supreme Court Ruling

The Teachers Service Commission is urging over 44,000 intern teachers to remain committed to their work to avert a nationwide strike that could disrupt learning in secondary schools. The Supreme Court overturned a Court of Appeal ruling that deemed the teacher internship program unconstitutional, allowing the Commission to continue employing these interns. Currently, over two million junior school students are receiving assistance from the intern teachers.
