Tuberculosis, HIV, malaria dominate active clinical trials

Research into tuberculosis (TB), HIV, and malaria accounts for 50 percent of all active clinical trials in Kenya, as reported by the Pharmacy and Poisons Board (PPB). These clinical trials, which study new tests and treatments, represent the largest research area in the country. They evaluate the effects of treatments on human health outcomes.
