TUC, PENGASSAN face court action over suspension, dissolution of Rivers executives

A Rivers State labor leader, Comrade Ikechukwu Foster Onyefuru, is challenging his suspension and the dissolution of an elected union executive in the National Industrial Court in Port Harcourt. He seeks to have his suspension declared unlawful, arguing that it did not comply with the TUC Constitution of 2024. Onyefuru is also requesting 10 million naira in general damages and 5 million naira for legal costs.
