TUC suspends industrial action over King’s College concession

The Trade Union Congress (TUC) has suspended the industrial action it previously directed its affiliates to undertake regarding the proposed concession of King’s College in Lagos. TUC General Secretary, Mr. Nuhu Toro, announced the suspension after a meeting with Minister of Education, Dr. Tunji Alausa, in Abuja. While the suspension allows a newly formed committee to address the unions' concerns, Toro emphasized that this does not mean the industrial action is permanently called off.
