Turkey: André Onana in car accident, condition is stable

André Onana was involved in a road accident in Turkey on Thursday evening while returning home after Trabzonspor’s 2-0 win over Hearts in the UEFA Europa Conference League. The 30-year-old Cameroonian goalkeeper, who was with his family, was taken to hospital for examinations and later returned home. Initial reports said their vehicle was struck from behind on the Yomra road near Trabzon, causing a pile-up. Trabzonspor president Ertugrul Dogan said there was no cause for concern about Onana’s condition.
