Twist as sacco moves to block State-picked Kuscco liquidators

Rupsa Sacco, based in Ruiru, is seeking to block the liquidators appointed by the State to liquidate the Kenya Union of Savings and Credit Co-operatives (Kuscco). Rupsa, owed Sh108.8 million by Kuscco, claims the appointment threatens existing court orders preserving the entity's assets. The High Court has certified Rupsa's application as urgent and ordered the parties to appear before the court on September 8 for further directions.
