Two dead and several injured as Suzuki bus collides with pickup in Lagos

Two people were killed and a man and a woman were seriously injured when a Suzuki commercial bus, registration KTU 333 YF, collided with a pickup along the Adekunle corridor toward Iyana Oworo in Lagos. LASTMA coordinated the rescue operation; the deceased were handed over to the state’s environmental health monitoring unit, while the injured were taken to General Hospital, Odan. The bus driver and the vehicles were handed over to police from the Yaba division. LASTMA General Manager Olalekan Bakare-Oki offered condolences and urged motorists to obey traffic rules and speed limits and drive cautiously.
