Two doctors, man arrested over alleged organ harvesting in Nasarawa

Two medical doctors and another man have been arrested in Nasarawa State for their alleged involvement in organ harvesting and human trafficking. The suspects, identified as Emmanuel Ode, Dr. Benjamin Oyime, and Dr. Daniel Otokpa, were apprehended during a sting operation on August 19, 2026. Ode allegedly confessed to facilitating the removal of a kidney from a 22-year-old man, Samuel Ezekiel, after agreeing to pay him 1.7 million Naira. Investigations are ongoing to determine the circumstances surrounding the operation.
