On Sunday morning, a man on his way to church was fatally struck by a fast-moving motorcycle on Port Harcourt Road.

JED recommends a national journalist-protection mechanism, independent investigations into violence against media workers, and fair access to health and budget data. It also calls for transparency and listening to communities’ concerns, rather than attributing distrust solely to social media or silencing journalists.
