Two organizations launch the war against child malnutrition in Yemen

The World Health Organization (WHO) and the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre have signed a $1.55 million agreement to improve access to nutrition and medical care for children suffering from severe acute malnutrition in Yemen. Over 12 months, WHO will distribute 402 pediatric and severe acute malnutrition kits to Therapeutic Feeding Centers, benefiting approximately 18,282 children under five across various regions. The project aims to strengthen the capacity of these centers to provide free inpatient treatment and ensure the continuous availability of essential medicines and supplies for managing complicated cases.
