2027: Adebutu’s omission from INEC list was unintentional, Sowunmi-Kolapo says

Hajia Yemi Sowunmi-Kolapo, the PDP deputy governorship candidate in Ogun State, said Ladi Adebutu’s absence from an INEC list was unintentional and would soon be corrected. She expressed confidence that Adebutu would win the 2027 election and called the ruling APC members’ reported celebration over the list premature. At a gathering in Abeokuta after Friday prayers, Muslim leaders prayed for the PDP ticket and praised both candidates’ contributions to the community and state. Sowunmi-Kolapo also voiced confidence that INEC chairman Professor Joash Amupitan would uphold the integrity of the electoral process.
