Lamine Yamal became the highest-scoring teenager in UEFA Champions League history when he netted his 14th goal in the competition during Barcelona’s 3-0 win over Aston Villa. The 19-year-old scored in the seventh minute at Spotify Camp Nou after a Villa error, curling the ball past Zion Suzuki. He surpassed Kylian Mbappé’s teenage record of 13 goals, reaching 14 in 37 appearances. Yamal finished third in the 2026 Ballon d’Or behind Harry Kane and Mbappé last week, and has scored 13 goals and provided 11 assists in 15 appearances across all competitions this season.
