The United Democratic Alliance (UDA) has scheduled grassroots elections in ten Kenyan counties for October 16, 17 and 31, 2026. Samburu is set to vote on October 16; Tana River, Vihiga, Nakuru, Marsabit and Isiolo on October 17; and Meru, Embu, Tharaka Nithi and Bomet on October 31. The party’s ENDRC will receive complaints from aggrieved candidates within 24 hours of the elections. The polls form part of a recruitment drive that has drawn hundreds of thousands of candidates and will help select ward congress officials across Kenya’s 1,450 wards.
