Will Morocco host the next FIFA Club World Cup?

According to KoraMaroc, Morocco is expected to host the 2029 FIFA Club World Cup, though the report has not been officially confirmed. The tournament would feature 48 teams for the first time, up from 32 in the previous edition in the United States, and the 2028–29 Botola champion would take part. Wydad Casablanca was Morocco’s sole representative at the last edition and exited in the first round after losing all three matches. Hosting the tournament could serve as a final rehearsal for the 2030 World Cup, which Morocco will co-host with Spain and Portugal.
