Uganda Airlines launch direct flights between Entebbe and Accra

Uganda Airlines has launched a new route from Entebbe to Accra starting October 27, 2026, with stopovers in Lagos, Nigeria. The airline plans to operate four flights per week using a Boeing 737-800 leased from Ethiopian Airlines. This route marks Accra’s entry into the airline’s network and strengthens its presence in West Africa, aligning with its regional development strategy to make Entebbe a hub connecting East Africa, West Africa, and international markets. Additionally, RwandAir is offering a short-term secondment to Qatari pilots following Qatar Airways’ retirement of its A330 fleet.
