Uganda Launches 'Nutrition for All' Campaign to Combat Rising Child Malnutrition

The Ugandan government has launched the 'Nutrition for All' campaign to combat child malnutrition as experts highlight the scale of the crisis. According to the Uganda Demographic and Health Survey (2022), 26% of children under five are affected by chronic malnutrition. Charles Olaro, Director General of Health Services, stated that improving child nutrition must be a national priority, emphasizing that access to food alone is not enough without dietary diversity.
