Uganda: Tooro Kingdom Mourns King Oyo As 34-Year Reign Ends

The Tooro Kingdom is mourning the death of Omukama Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi IV, who passed away at the age of 34. His reign began at the age of three following his father's death, and he gradually took on greater responsibilities for the kingdom's affairs. The question of succession is now a focus, with the Kingdom's Prime Minister assuring that the continuity of the institution is secure with a prince ready to succeed him.
