UITH management condemns assault on medical doctor by patient's relative

The management of the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital (UITH) has condemned the physical assault of a medical doctor by a patient's relative. In a statement, Head of Corporate Affairs Abiodun Fagbemi reiterated the hospital's zero-tolerance policy towards any form of assault. UITH has heightened security and supports the Association of Resident Doctors in pursuing legal action. The suspect has been arraigned or is in the process of being arraigned.
