UK, DCI Sign MoU to Fight Organised Immigration Crime in East Africa

The United Kingdom and Kenya's Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) signed a Memorandum of Understanding on September 2, 2026, in Nairobi to strengthen the fight against organised immigration crime. As part of this partnership, the UK government donated a fleet of operational vehicles to support investigations into human trafficking and migrant smuggling. DCI Director Mohamed Amin emphasized the importance of this collaboration in addressing increasingly complex criminal networks.
