UK: Notting Hill Carnival Celebrates 60 Years

Held from August 29 to 31, the Notting Hill Carnival celebrates its 60th anniversary this year. The event opened with the Panorama, a steel band competition, followed by J’ouvert and family parades. The main adult parade on Monday will feature floats, handmade costumes, and over 30 sound systems. A 72-second moment of silence will be observed each day at 3 PM in memory of the victims of the Grenfell Tower fire.
