UK Prime Minister’s Adviser’s Wife Expresses ‘Support’ for Palestine Action

Sarah Helm, a writer and the wife of National Security Adviser Jonathan Powell, posted on X expressing support for Palestine and Palestine Action. The Metropolitan Police is assessing the post to determine whether a further investigation is needed. A government spokesperson said Helm’s views were those of an individual who does not represent the government. Activist group Defend Our Juries defended Helm and said 36 people had been arrested and had their homes raided for similar social media posts.
