UK raises case of British activist detained by settlers in Israel

The UK Foreign Office has raised the detention of Finn Joughin, a 22-year-old student activist, arrested in Umm Al-Kheir after being forcibly taken by Israeli settlers. Joughin was trying to protect a fence when children from settler families began to intervene. Although Israeli police stated he was suspected of an indecent act against a minor, witnesses claim there was no inappropriate behavior on his part. His family reported that he was due to be deported from Israel on Monday.
