UK weather: Storm Austen named by Met Office as yellow wind warning issued

Storm Austen, the first named storm of autumn, is expected to bring severe gales and heavy rain to parts of the UK from Thursday night. Austen will move into the North Sea on Friday, but another low-pressure system will bring further rain and strong winds on Saturday, including gusts of 70-80mph in western Scotland.
