Ukraine: Russian attacks resume in Kherson after truce ends

Ukrainian authorities reported Monday that Russian attacks had resumed in the Kherson region after a localized truce ended on Sunday evening. At about 8 a.m., a Russian drone struck a car in Kherson’s Korabelny district, injuring two people, the municipality said. The truce, which began on Tuesday, enabled the evacuation of residents from Russian-occupied Olechky, where people faced severe shortages of water, food and medicine. Local officials had expected attacks to resume, while fighting and strikes continued elsewhere along the front during the pause.
