Over 4,500 people living or working near the Wye, Lugg, and Usk rivers have signed up to participate in a legal action against Avara Foods and Welsh Water, accused of pollution. The claimants are demanding action to improve the rivers' condition and compensation for damages suffered. The first procedural hearing will take place at the High Court in London, where lead claimant Justine Evans will be present.
