Umunneochi women protest against herdsmen destroying their crops

Women from Obinolu Ngodo in Umunneochi Local Government Area protested at the local government secretariat against the invasion of their farms by herdsmen. They alleged that Fulani herdsmen uprooted their cassava tubers to feed their cattle and expressed fear of entering their farms. Umunneochi Local Government Chairman Sunny Afurobi promised to investigate the situation and assured that the government is serious about security.
